RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR, HONORABLE ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER
INTO, EXECUTE AND SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE METRO OLONGAPO
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (MOCCI/OBC), INC. REPRESENTED BY ITS PRESIDENT MR. RUBEN C.
DE GUZMAN FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE OLONGAPO MARDIGRAS ON OCTOBER 20-22, 2016
WHEREAS, the City of
Olongapo, a body corporate duly organized and existing pursuant to RA 4645 as
amended otherwise known as the Charter of the City of Olongapo, represented by
the City Mayor, Honorable Rolen C. Paulino;
WHEREAS,
Metro Olongapo Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (MOCCI/OBC) duly organized non-stock,
non-profit corporation under Philippine laws, represented by its President Mr.
Ruben C. De Guzman;
WHEREAS,
the City of Olongapo wishes to invigorate the economy of the city through
tourism activities;
WHEREAS,
the City of Olongapo recognizes the capacity and experience of the MOCCI/OBC to
organize the Olongapo Mardi Gras 2016 on October along RM Drive, Olongapo City;
WHEREAS,
the (MOCCI/OBC) supports the city’s aim to invigorate not only the tourism
aspect but to generate jobs and livelihood for the residents of the city
through the Olongapo Mardi Gras 2016 activities;
WHEREAS,
terms and conditions are set and stipulated at the said Memorandum of Agreement
(MOA) agreed upon by both concerned parties.
NOW,
THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Sarah Lugerna F. Lipumano-Garcia,
with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,
Con’t. of Resolution No. 94,
Series of 2016.

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assemble,
to authorize as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor, Honorable Rolen C. Paulino
to enter into, execute and sign a Memorandum of Agreement with the Metro
Olongapo Chamber of Commerce (MOCCI/OBC), Inc. represented by its President Mr.
Ruben C. De Guzman for the management of the Olongapo Mardigras on October 20-22,
2016.
Let a copy of Memorandum of
Agreement (MOA) be made as integral part of this Resolution.
