RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND RECOGNIZING THE HOTEL AND RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT –
LYCEUM OF SUBIC BAY (LSB) TEAM FOR
WINNING
VARIOUS AWARDS IN THE PHILIPPINE CULINARY CUP 2016
LAST
AUGUST 3-6, 2016 IN SMX CONVENTION CENTER, PASAY CITY
WHEREAS, the Philippine
Culinary Cup was organized and endorsed by the Members of the World Association
of Chefs Association Philippines, specifically the LTB Chefs Association
Philippines, the Pastry Alliance of the Philippines and the PEP Group, Inc.;
WHEREAS,
the Philippine Culinary Cup 2016 was held last August 3 to 6, 2016 at the SMX
Convention Center, Pasay City;
WHEREAS,
the team of Hotel and Restaurant Management Department of Lyceum of Subic
Bay (LSB) won a bronze medal and succeeded as top 21 in different categories in
the said event;
WHEREAS,
in the Local Fish and Seafood Category, Ms. Ara Hwang won bronze medal with an average of 70%
beating other 74 competitors from East and South East Asia and other teams from
our country;
WHEREAS,
in the Filipino Cuisine Category, Mr. Kenneth Crisostomo and Ms. Trixia Pineda
won top 21 out of 54 competing teams;
NOW,
THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Benjamin G. Cajudo, II with the
unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,
RESOLVED,
AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session
assembled, to congratulate and recognize as it hereby congratulates and
recognizes the Hotel and Restaurant Management – Lyceum of Subic Bay (LSB) Team
for winning various awards in the Philippine Culinary Cup 2016 last August 3-6,
2016 in SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
