RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND COMMENDING MS. MELISSA
CASTOR MALONG WHO RANKED 1ST PLACE
IN THE JUNE 2016
NURSING
LICENSURE EXAMINATION
WHEREAS, the results of the Nursing Licensure
Examination given on June 5-6, 2016 in the City of Manila was released on June
9, 2016;
WHEREAS, Ms. Melissa C. Malong, a graduate of De La
Salle-Health Sciences Institute (DLS-HSI), Dasmarinas Cavite, ranked 1st
place, with a board rating of 87.20%, out of the 6,183 National Board passers;
WHEREAS,
in the Pre-Board Examinations, she ranked 1st place in the DLS-HSI and
3rd place in Gapuz Review Center;
WHEREAS,
Ms. Malong was awarded 3rd in the over-all ranking for the graduates
of class 2016. She was also awarded several other merits including: Best Thesis
in 2016 Commencement Exercise DLS-HSI; 3rd place in the Poster
Presentation 2016 of Manila Doctor’s Research Forum; Top 20 in the class of
2012 of Oak Harbor High School, Washington State, United States of America;
Medal of Merit in 2012 for ROTC program; and consistently included in the
Principal’s list for the years 2009 to 2012;
WHEREAS, Ms. Malong,
daughter of Mr. Mario M. Malong and Ms. Zenaida C. Malong , is a resident of
Barangay Gordon Heights, Olongapo City;
WHEREAS,
the outstanding performance of Ms. Melissa Castor Malong deserves to be
commended and congratulated as she brought pride and honor to the City of
Olongapo;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous
accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,
RESOLVED,
AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session
assembled, to congratulate and commend as it hereby congratulates and commends Ms.
Melissa Castor Malong who Ranked 1st Place in the June 2016 Nursing
Licensure Examination.
