RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO,
EXECUTE, AND SIGN FOR AND ON BEHALF OF JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (JLGMH)
THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH – REGIONAL
OFFICE III FOR ALLOCATION OF FUND PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10717, OTHERWISE
KNOWN AS GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT (GAA) FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2016, IN A MANNER
CONSISTENT WITH LAW.
WHEREAS,
the Department
of Health – Regional Office III, a government agency created and existing under
the laws of the Republic of the Philippines;
WHEREAS, James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital,
a government health care facility hospital managed by the City Government of
Olongapo, existing pursuant to the laws of the Republic of the Philippines;
WHEREAS,
the DOH RHO 3 is authorized to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with
the LGU of Olongapo City and JLGMH pursuant to Administrative Order No.
2016-0010, Guidelines for the Implementation of the Medical Health Care
Assistance to Indigent and Poor Patients of the Department of Health;
WHEREAS,
the LGU of Olongapo City and JLGMH shall ensure the efficient implementation of
the medical assistance to indigents and poor patients;
WHEREAS, to ensure a more effective and
efficient system of implementation of the medical assistance to indigent and
poor patients, inclusive of a systemic reimbursement process for LGU managed
hospitals, this MOA is being entered into;

NOW,
THEREFORE, on
motion of City Councilor Eduardo G. Guerrero, with the unanimous accord of the
Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;
RESOLVED,
AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled,
to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor Rolen C. Paulino
to enter into, execute, and sign for and on behalf of James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH)
the Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Health – Regional Office III
for allocation of fund pursuant to
Republic Act No. 10717, otherwise known as General Appropriations Act (GAA) for
the Fiscal Year 2016, in a manner
consistent with law.
Let a copy of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) be
made as integral part of this Resolution.
