A RESOLUTION COMMENDING
AND CONGRATULATING MARIA ENGRACIA DE VILLAR – MANIAGO FOR BEING CROWNED
AS MRS. ASIA INTERNATIONAL 2016 CONGENIALITY QUEEN DURING THE MRS. ASIA
INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT HELD AT KUALA LUMPUR,
MALAYSIA
WHEREAS,
Maria Engracia de Villar- Maniago 43 years old and a resident of Barangay East Bajac-Bajac, Olongapo
City. She is the mother of five (5)
children and is married to Francis Ela Maniago;
WHEREAS,
Mrs Maniago was crowned as Mrs. Asia International 2016 Congeniality Queen
during the Mrs. Asia International Pageant held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on June
10, 2016 competing with other candidates
coming from the different parts of Asia;
WHEREAS,
aside from these personal achievements, Mrs. Maniago was crowned as Mrs.
Philippines Asia International Pageant of the Year 2015 and Mrs. Philippines
Global Woman of Substance 2015;
WHEREAS,
for thirteen (13) long years, she served
as a Teacher in International School and served as an Adviser to the Student
Council. She also spearheaded the group named, Providing Education for the
Needy through Scholarships (P.E.N.S.) that
benefited many deserving
students who come from the financially
challenged family. Likewise, she also served as the coach of the Performing
Arts Guild and the Director of School Stage Play;
WHEREAS,
her passion to extend her community
services, Mrs. Maniago is an active civic worker serving as one of the
Pusong Gapo for Humanity (PGFH), Batang
Gapo People’s Organization, Inc. (BGPOI) and Bukas Loob sa Diyos (BLD).

THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Randy
C. Sionzon, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang
Panlungsod present,
RESOLVED,
AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in
session assembled to commend and congratulate,
as it hereby commends and congratulates
Maria Engracia de Villar- Maniago for being Crowned as Mrs. Asia International 2016
Congeniality Queen during the Mrs. Asia International Pageant held at Kuala
Lumpur Malaysia.
