A RESOLUTION ADOPTING
THE GORDON COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES RESOLUTION NO. 1, SERIES OF 2016 ENTITLED:
“A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF THE FIVE-YEAR INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
PLAN OF GORDON COLLEGE FOR 2015-2020”
WHEREAS, in line with the
vision of Gordon College, to become a premier institution of higher learning
committed to the wholistic development of the human person and society, they
aim to have all academic programs recognized by the Commission on Higher
Education (CHED) and accredited by the Association of Local Colleges and
Universities – Commission On Accreditation (ALCU-COA);
WHEREAS,
one of the primary requirements in order to be recognized and accredited by
the said associations is the Five-Year Institutional Development Plan;
WHEREAS,
the Five-Year Institutional Development Plan was presented during the first
regular meeting of the Gordon College Board of Trustees (BOT) last January 21,
2016;
WHEREAS,
the Sangguniang Panlungsod deems its imperative that Resolution No. 1, Series
of 2016 approved by the Gordon College Board of Trustees on January 21, 2016 be
adopted, pursuant to City Resolution No. 70, Series of 2012;
NOW,
THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Benjamin G. Cajudo II and City
Councilor Edna A. Elane, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the
Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED,
AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session
assembled, to adopt, as it hereby adopts the Gordon College Board of Trustees
Resolution No. 1, Series of 2016 entitled: “A Resolution Recommending the
Approval of the Five-Year Institutional Development Plan of Gordon College of
2015-2020.
RESOLVED
FURTHER, AS IT IS HREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Gordon College Board of
Trustees Resolution No. 1, Series of 2016 and the Five-Year Institutional
Development Plan of Gordon College of 2015-2020 be made as integral parts of
this Resolution.
