A RESOLUTION
COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING CHRISTINE JULIANE H. OPIAZA FOR WINNING THE CROWN
OF SLIMMERS WORLD MISS BIKINI PHILIPPINES 2016 PAGEANT HELD ON MAY 20, 2016 AT
THE NEWPORT PERFORMING ARTS AND THEATER RESORTS WORLD,MANILA
WHEREAS, Christine
Juliane H. Opiaza , 18 years old is a freelance model and a native of Barangay
Kalalake, Olongapo City. She is the daughter of Mr. Rick Opiaza and Mrs. Julie Opiaza. She is currently taking up Bachelor of Science
in Business Administration (BSBA) Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) at the
Lyceum of Subic Bay;
WHEREAS, Slimmer’s World
Miss Bikini Philippines 2016 is a women’s competition which was participated by thirty(30) aspiring
gorgeous ladies coming from the different parts of the Philippines which aims
to promote slimming fitness and getting in the best shape to achieve a healthy lifestyle;
WHEREAS,
after
the rigorous process of selection of all the 30 candidates competing for the
coveted title, Christine emerged and was crowned as Slimmer’s World Miss Bikini
Philippines 2016, during the coronation night held at the Newport Performing
Arts and Theater Resorts World Manila on May 20, 2016;
WHEREAS,
in
the course of the competition, Christine was talented enough to win other
Special Awards such as, Ms. Diamond Hotel,
Best Creative posing, and Miss Personality;

WHEREAS, as a model,
she possess the traits and characteristic of a true Filipina beauty for winning
other distinction from previous competition she has been awarded as follows: Miss Teen Olongapo, 1st
runner up 2014; Miss Teen Subic Bay –Tourism 2014; and Lakambining Castillejos
2015;
WHEREAS, with all the positive attitude and
enthusiasm, Christine was able to raise her self-esteem and to utilize her skills
for development of character, and to stand out from the rest of the candidates;
WHEREAS, in recognition
of her achievements, Christine Julian H. Opiaza rightfully deserve a
commendation for bringing home pride and honor for the City of Olongapo;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor
Emerito Linus D. Bacay co-sponsored by City Councilor Randy C. Sionzon, with the unanimous accord of the Member of the
Sanggunian Panlungsod present,
RESOLVED,
AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled
to commend and congratulate, as it hereby commends and congratulates Christine
Juliane H. Opiaza for winning the crown of Slimmer’s World Miss Bikini
Philippines 2016 pageant held on May 20, 2016 at the Newport Performing Arts and Theater Resorts World, Manila
Philippines.
