RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO,
EXECUTE, AND SIGN FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE LIVELIHOOD AND COOPERATIVE
DEVELOPMENT OFFICE (LCDO) THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE TECHNICAL
EDUCATION AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (TESDA), ZAMBALES PROVINCIAL OFFICE
IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW
WHEREAS, the Technical
Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Zambales Provincial Office,
a government agency organized and existing pursuant to the laws of the Republic
of the Philippines, represented by its Provincial Director, Virginia B. Bontoc,
Ed., D.;
WHEREAS, the Livelihood
and Cooperative Development Office (LCDO), a duly recognized program under the
Local Government Unit of Olongapo City, represented by the Honorable Mayor
Rolen C. Paulino;
WHEREAS, the TESDA being
the lead agency in catalyzing and coordinating manpower development services is
liking up with various organizations to achieve its objectives;
WHEREAS, the LCDO
recognizes the importance of skills development and employment and is tasked to
promote, coordinate and implement manpower training programs;
WHEREAS, LCDO will
conduct trainings in Massage Therapy NC II, Beauty Care NC II, Bartending NC
II, Food and Beverage NC II, Commercial Cooking NC II, in coordination with
TESDA;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Edna A.
Elane, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod
present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the
Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize as it hereby
authorizes the Honorable City Mayor Rolen C. Paulino to enter into, execute,
and sign for and on behalf of the Livelihood and Cooperative Development Office
(LCDO) the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Technical Education and
Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Zambales Provincial Office in a manner
consistent with law.
Let a
copy of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) be made as integral part of this
Resolution.
