RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR,
HONORABLE ROLEN C. PAULINO, TO ENTER INTO, EXECUTE AND SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF
AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH RADIOTEC COMMUNICATIONS, INCORPORATED REGARDING THE CITY’S
RADIO REPEATER SITE
WHEREAS, Radiotec
Communications, Incorporated, represented by Reynaldo Medestomas, is the real
property owner with residence address at Upper Nieves, Mabayuan, Olongapo City
is the Lessor, where the seven (7) sets of VHF/UHF radio repeater of the city
is located on top of Kalaklan Ridge;
WHEREAS,
the repeater system with its own
building is located within the
secured property of Mr. Medestomas, which was established by the city in 2005;
WHEREAS,
the term of lease started from July
01, 2013 will expired on June 30, 2016;
WHEREAS,
the City Government of Olongapo as the Lessee, agrees to pay a lease fee to the
Lessor of Four Thousand Pesos (PhP4,000.00) per month per set Three Hundred
Thirty Six Thousand (PhP336,000,00) per year for electrical/power consumption,
security and system maintenance of the area;
WHEREAS,
the Lessor agrees to pay all taxes
and assessments associated with this parcel;
WHEREAS,
the city’s leadership deems it best that its radio communication equipment
be placed for optimum use and this agreement for the lease of the repeater site
is necessary;
NOW,
THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Benjamin G. Cajudo, II, with the
majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED,
AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session
assembled, to authorize as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor, Honorable Rolen
C. Paulino, to enter into, execute and sign the Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) with Radiotec Communications, Incorporated
regarding the City’s Radio Repeater Site.
Let a copy of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) be made as
integral part of this Resolution.
