RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO,
EXECUTE, AND SIGN IN BEHALF OF JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (JLGMH) FOR THE
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE EURO-NEPAL EDUCATION CONSULTANCY (ENEC)
FOR MEDICAL RESIDENCY TRAINING PROGRAM (MRTP) FOR FOREIGN BACHELOR OF MEDICINE
AND BACHELOR OF SURGERY (MBBS) IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW.
WHEREAS, the Euro-Nepali Education
Consultancy (ENEC), is a foreign institution with principal office at Maitidevi
32, Kathmandu, Nepal, represented by Mr. Birendra Acharya, Director.
WHEREAS,
the James L.
Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH), is a tertiary government health care facility
managed by the City Government of Olongapo, existing pursuant to the laws of
the Republic of the Philippines represented by Hon. Rolen C.Paulino, City
Mayor.
WHEREAS, the ENEC, being a foreign
entity, has complied with the necessary requirements to transact with JLGMH.
WHEREAS, both parties have agreed to
collaborate in the implementation and provision of a Medical Residency Training
Program for Foreign MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery MD)
graduates in the Philippines who are duly licensed doctors from Nepal and
India.
WHEREAS,
for and in
consideration of the foregoing premises, terms and conditions are stipulated on
the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), and on the JLGMH guidelines for foreign
medical graduates residency training program (JLGMH FMGRP), and are agreed upon
by both parties.

NOW,
THEREFORE, on
motion of City Councilor Benjamin G. Cajudo, II, with the unanimous accord of
the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;
RESOLVED,
AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED,
by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize as it hereby
authorizes the Honorable City Mayor
Rolen C. Paulino to enter into, execute, and sign in behalf of the James L.
Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH) for the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the
Euro-Nepal Education Consultancy (ENEC) for Medical Residency Training Program
(MRTP) for Foreign Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in a manner consistent with law.
Let a copy of the Memorandum of
Agreement (MOA) be made as integral part of this Resolution,
