A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING DR. DAVID C. BUENO, DEAN, GRADUATE SCHOOL AND DIRECTOR, RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS OFFICE,  COLUMBAN COLLEGE FOR WINNING THE 2015 OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUAL MEMBER IN SINGAPORE AND OUTSTANDING FILIPINO RESEARCH LEADER AWARDS BY THE PHILIPPINE ASSOCIATION OF INSTITUTIONS FOR RESEARCH, AND 2015 OUTSTANDING RESEARCHER OF THE PHILIPPINES AND DISTINGUISHED BOOK AUTHOR AWARDS BY THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH

WHEREAS, the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research, Inc. or PAIR is a body that aims to advance quality multidisciplinary research and its dissemination in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) with affiliation with Association for Institutional Research, USA;

WHEREAS, Dr. Bueno, Dean of Graduate School-Columban College, was awarded by the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research as the 2015 Outstanding Individual Member;

WHEREAS, Dr. Bueno rose from the rank from his beginning as secondary teacher in Columban College, he strives and pursues higher education finishing his Master of Arts in Education, Major in Science Education Program and in the year 2000, he finished his Doctorate Studies in Educational Administration;

WHEREAS, in 2010 Dr. Bueno was appointed Dean of Graduate School and at the same time the Director for Research and Publication Office of Columban College. His position inspired him further; he took up Master in Public Management and Master in Business Administration and he is currently writing his dissertation for his doctorate course in Business Administration at the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST);

WHEREAS, Dr. Bueno serves as guest lecturer at the Graduate School of Holy Angel University, St. Joseph College-Olongapo City and Bulacan State College and Resource Speaker to numerous educational institution and various organizations and published several Research Journal / Article and was awarded as Best Paper Presenter in Bangkok, Thailand;

WHEREAS, Dr. Bueno’s academic excellence and dedication to his profession will ensure the development of new knowledge relative to Science and society that will certainly benefits our educational institutions;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate, as it hereby congratulates Dr. David C. Bueno, Dean, Graduate School and Director, Research and Publications Office,  Columban College for winning the 2015 Outstanding Individual Member in Singapore and Outstanding Filipino Research Leader Awards by the Philippine Association of Institutions for Research, and 2015 Outstanding Researcher of the Philippines and Distinguished Book Author Awards by the International Association of Multidisciplinary Research.
