RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO,
EXECUTE, AND SIGN FOR THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) WITH THE PHILIPPINE
STATISTICS AUTHORITY (PSA) – REGIONAL OFFICE FOR THE LEASE OF OFFICE/BUILDING
FORMERLY OCCUPIED BY PUBLIC UTILITIES DEPARTMENT IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH
LAW.
WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo
City, duly recognized and existing pursuant to RA 4645 as amended otherwise
known as the Charter of the City of Olongapo.
WHEREAS,
the Philippine
Statistics Authority (PSA) Regional Office III, a government agency organized and
existing pursuant to the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Olongapo
hereby leases unto the PSA, Regional Office III, the office/building at Gordon
Avenue, Barangay Pag-asa, formerly occupied by the Public Utilities Department
(PUD) with an area of 636 sq. meters.
WHEREAS, both parties agreed to have the
area of 636 sq. meters for lease in the amount of Forty-Four Thousand Pesos
(Php44,000.00) per month.
WHEREAS,
in case of any
conflict, parties must exert all efforts to settle amicably.
NOW,
THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Noel Y. Atienza, with the unanimous
accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;
RESOLVED,
AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED,
by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City
Mayor Rolen C. Paulino to enter into, execute, and sign for the Memorandum of
Agreement (MOA) with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Regional
Office for the lease of office/building formerly occupied by Public Utilities
Department in a manner consistent with law.
