A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
HONORABLE CITY MAYOR ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO, EXECUTE AND SIGN THE SPECIFIC
IMPLEMENTATION ARRANGEMENTS (SIA) WITH
THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT (DSWD) REGION III IN A MANNER
CONSISTENT WITH LAW
WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo, duly recognized
and existing pursuant to RA 4645 as amended otherwise known as the Charter of
the City of Olongapo, represented by the Honorable Rolen C. Paulino;
WHEREAS, the Department of Social Welfare
and Development Region III, a government agency created pursuant to existing
laws of the Republic of the Philippines, represented by the Regional Director,
Ms. Gemma Gabuya;
WHEREAS, this Specific Implementation
Arrangement (SIA) is created as a supplementary agreement to the General
Memorandum of Agreement between the DSWD and the Local Government of Olongapo
City;
WHEREAS, the DSWD has specified the
following projects under the BUB project:
a)
Cash
for Work project and Activities for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation
(CCAM) in the City
b)
Cash
for Work projects for Rehabilitation of Typhoon Lando victims
WHEREAS, the roles and responsibilities
of both parties are specifically stipulated in the SIA;

WHEREAS, funds for the implementation of
the program shall be transferred by the DSWD Central Office to DSWD Field
Office by way of sub-allotment allocation and transfer of cash allocation, and
transferred to the LGU upon completion of all technical requirements and
approval of the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Edna
A. Elane, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang
Panlungsod present;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS
HEREBY RESOLVED,
by the Sangguniang Panglungsod in session assembled, to authorize the Honorable
City Mayor Rolen C. Paulino to enter into, execute, and sign the Specific
Implementation Arrangement (SIA) with
the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region III in a manner
consistent with law.
Let a copy of the Specific
Implementation Arrangement (SIA) be made as integral part of this Resolution.
