A RESOLUTION COMMENDING YOUNG ATHLETES FROM THE CITY OF OLONGAPO FOR WINNING VARIOUS AWARDS IN BATANG PINOY 2015 NATIONAL FINALS HELD ON NOVEMBER 26 TO DECEMBER 3, 2015 IN  CEBU CITY

WHEREAS,  Batang Pinoy 2015  is a yearly competition participated by  children 15 years old and below with the representation by a local government unit(LGU). Batang Pinoy 2015 National Finals  was held on November 26 - December 3, 2015 in Cebu City which was  sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC);

WHEREAS, with the support  of  the  City Sports and Youth Development Office  and their coaches, young athletes from different schools in the City once  again showed their best performance and determination during the competition and won different awards in the following categories, to wit:

 WHEREAS, the above performances, also achieved the following special awards;

WHEREAS, the outstanding performance of these athletes through the help of their coaches deserve to be commended for bringing pride and honor  to the  City of Olongapo;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Emerito Linus D. Bacay, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sanggunian Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to commend as it hereby commends young athletes from the City of Olongapo for winning various awards in Batang Pinoy 2015 National Finals, held on November 26 to December 3, 2015 in Cebu City.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution  be furnished the Department of Education-Olongapo City and the City Sports and Youth Development Office.
